Who doesn’t like the Mini? It was a big gamble when BMW decided it would take on a second generation Mini but no one can deny it has been an enormous commercial success. To celebrate John Cooper’s 1959 Formula One Championship title, Mini has designed a 250 car limited edition named the 2010 Mini John Cooper Works World Championship 50. Powered by a 1.6 liter inline-4, the little mini will hit 100km/h (62mph) in 6.5 seconds. Not so bad considering it only puts out 208hp. Extra goodies includes sat-nav and a custom Harman Kardon stereo. There’s one downside though, it costs 40,000 euros (56,420 USD).
