Nissan’s racing division was highly successful last year with a win in the Japanese Super GT, but Nissan has been shy at introducing a race car that could compete in the Le Mans Series. Today things are going to change as Nissan has unveiled the 2010 Nissan GT-R GT1. Because of the tremendous success and praise Nissan received over their GT-R, they have decided to make a GT1 model that will compete against cars such as the Aston Martin DBR1 and the Corvette C6R. All GT1 cars are required to deliver no more then 600hp and weigh no less then 1250kg. This new addition will help make the LMS season even more exciting then it already is.
