2009 Lola-Aston Martin LMP1

Aston Martin have been eager at succeeding in winning the 24 hours of Le Mans. After winning in the GT1 class with the DBR9 in 2008, Aston Martin decided to take the next step and develop a LMP1 car in order to compete against the Audi R15, the Peugot 908 HDi FAP and the Acura ARX-02a. Although the Lola Aston Martin LMP1 is a powered by a gasoline 6.0 liter V12, we can assume the diesel powered Audi’s will be hard to beat at the hardest race in the world. Get ready for the 2009 24 Hours of Lemans which hasn’t seen the excitement of 4 different factory teams competing in LMP1 for quite a few years!
